EXHIBITION OF PAINTINGS

Exhibition of Paintings consists of two spatially separate installations.

First installation: A light travels through the space and falls as a rectangular shape on the white canvases. The beam of light from the lamps is turned and shaped by mirrors and guided through the room towards the canvases. The light fades out slowly and switches on quickly in approximately nine seconds intervals.

Second installation: An image of the painting is diverted across a big mirror to a mirror in front of a chair. A spectator – sitting on the chair, and with their head in a metal helmet – can see an image of the painting to their front. The mirror has the same shape and size of the reflected painting.

Two installations.
The first installation: three white canvases, three lamps with shades, three mirrors, metal tubes, a light dimmer.
The second installation: a wooden chair, two mirrors, metal tubes, a prefabricated metal cast, a wooden construction, a painting by Tadej Tozon.
